Consent

If you are not the next of kin, as a courtesy, please ensure that you are duly authorized by the next of kin of the deceased to create an obituary/remembrance/tribute for the deceased person. If you are below 18 years of age, then you must have the consent of your parent or guardian in order to use our service.

Use of Obituarytoday.com

The objective of Obituarytoday.com is purely for personal use to enable people to create beautiful and loving obituaries/remembrance/tributes for deceased members of a family, friends, colleagues and even celebrities. The Obituarytoday.com service must not be used for commercial purposes in any way.

Material content

Obituarytoday.com is not responsible for any inappropriate or offensive content. This action would invite removal of the obituary/remembrance/tribute without refund. The user would be held responsible for the content that is found misleading, hurting or against the social, cultural and individual values or that seems to dividing or promoting discrimination in the society.

Copyright

In our obituary/remembrance/tribute, guardians retain the copyright over all their uploaded content whilst all intellectual property relating to the website is owned by Obituarytoday.com.

Any re-publication of any part of the website including any content and/or the Obituarytoday.com logo is not allowed without express/written permission by Obituarytoday.com. Any breach of this by either individuals, companies or any other organization will be deemed to be a breach of both the spirit of the service and legal copyright and we reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect the interests of both Obituarytoday.com and our users.

Long-term website storage

While the intention and expectation is that permanent obituary/remembrance/tribute sites are sufficiently funded to remain online in perpetuity, Obituarytoday.com cannot be held responsible for unanticipated future costs or events. The expenditure on which future hosting calculations are based upon are freely available on request.
